Half term…time for sweeties!
It’s half term this week, which in Devon means lots of visitors! Often our guests are families and ones that want to enjoy themselves, forget diets and find something of how they imagine England was 50 years ago!
Enter Moorbakes…..
For the holidays we have designed some special cupcakes; chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream loaded with sweeties….enjoy the cakes and your time in this beautiful part of the country!
Valentines cupcakes
Red velvet cupcakes, soaked in vanilla sugar syrup topped with either pale pink vanilla buttercream or white cream cheese frosting. Tasted lovely but Hummingbird recipes are a lot more complicated than needed!

Although Moorbakes have been very poor at taking photos there have been a couple of occasions when we have felt that a record of our creativity has been required. Below is the back date of our previous offerings….the future holds better images……
Rachels’ 18th
At the start of January Moorbakes trundled half way across England to join in the celebrations for Rachels 18th birthday. Naturally we were asked to provide the cakes.
Rachel had a theme of silver and purple and wanted chocolate and vanilla sponge so we made vanilla sponge with vanilla butter icing, coloured purple and decorated with silver stars, glitter and balls and chocolate sponge with white chocolate icing with purple glitter, purple handmade roses and other purple cut outs.
